Statement on Auditing Standards SAS70 Certification

Expedient communications offers SAS70 certified colocation and data center services.

SAS70 is an auditing standard established and maintained by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). It is used for the purpose of evaluating service provider organization control objectives and activities so that the information can be shared with other parties in a uniform reporting format that is generally accepted by the audit community.

The issuance of the opinion report prepared by Expedient's independent accounting and auditing firm in accordance with SAS70 is a reliable indicator that our control objectives and activities have been examined and were found to meet the standards set forth by the AICPA.

Two types of SAS70 certification:

Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70 (SAS70 Certified)

Type I - reports on controls initially placed in operation including processes and procedures that are performed in both manual and automated fashion
Type II - reports on controls initially placed in operation followed by tests of operating effectiveness following at least 12 months of use in their intended manner
