Expedient Names New General Manager at ANET

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Expedient Communications, the Mid-West’s leading provider of High-Speed, IP Transit and Private Transport via Ethernet to some of the country's largest businesses, today announced a key personnel addition to the ANET office. John McCreary has recently joined the company as General Manager, effective January 15, 2007.

Prior to joining ANET, McCreary was Vice President of Managed Services for RKON Technologies where he was responsible for the development, delivery, execution, and sales of a full-range of managed services associated with information technology, security, business continuity and risk management. Prior to ANET and RKON, McCreary was one of the founders of a boutique IT security and managed services firm located in downtown Chicago.

A veteran in the IT Industry, McCreary has used his entrepreneurial talents and knowledge of the Chicago market in both start-ups and established businesses and has held senior sales and management positions with companies like AT&T and Edge Technologies.

As a first point of order, McCreary will focus on the expansion of ANET’s product offerings to include services such as Ethernet Anywhere, the first connectivity product of its kind in Chicagoland. In addition, McCreary will be responsible for expanding ANET’s Data Center footprint and the level of managed services that are currently being provided in Chicago.
