Our agency relies heavily upon the network to transmit time sensitive documents including high resolution imagery used in our client's advertising. As our business has grown, network capacity between our regional offices and to the public Internet has rapidly increased.
The Ethernet Anywhere service from Expedient has helped us scale capacity by solving several problems for us. We needed more bandwidth than a few T1 lines could provide, but we couldn't justify the expense of a DS3. Compounding this issue, we found that multiple T1s bonded together required load balancing on our routers that wasted valuable processing power and bandwidth, especially when utilizing our VPN.
Expedient was able to deliver us a single Ethernet Anywhere port at the bandwidth selection we specified and at a price point that the competition was unable to come close to. The service has been extremely reliable and we have been very satisfied with the speed provided.

As the Systems Administrator in our office, it is my job to stay on the lookout for new technologies with cost in mind. I was presented a way to increase our bandwidth to the world wide web without incurring additional costs.
The Ethernet Anywhere product from Expedient was the perfect upgrade from our fractional T1. We now enjoy faster upload and download times to corporate servers in other cities. The change over was overly simple and perfectly executed by the Expedient Support Team. Old equipment was replace and the new equipment was installed, tested and beat all our expectations. Administrating this new service is relatively seamless and should a problem arise, support is just a phone call away.

I wanted to take a moment to write you regarding our recent experience with expedient and your new Ethernet Anywhere product.
As I'm sure you recall, our company has a need for significant bandwidth, but was having a difficult time justifying the expense of multiple T-1 Internet connections including local loops, Internet ports, and circuit installation costs, as well as the incremental cost of premises equipment required to terminate the multiple T-1's.
Your Ethernet Anywhere service completely solved that problem for us. It provided the 5 MB of bandwidth we required, and eliminated the need for expensive hardware and multiple T-1 installations.
I must admit that we were a bit skeptical about the technology, and the ability to deliver significant bandwidth over plain old copper lines. But your team came through and the service works great! As a matter of fact, your Engineering staff and Network Management Center went above and beyond the call to support us in our cut over to the new service. As you recall, the ordering and provisioning process was smooth and without incident. Our service was turned up on March 30, 2005, and we did our internal cut-over from another provider's DSL service that night. During that cut, at about 7.30PM, we had an issue with IP address ranges and gateway assignments. Our engineer got on the phone with expedient's engineer and together they developed a work-around solution that required a re-configuration at the expedient end of the circuit. Your team told us that they would look into the situation to determine what changes could be made and in what timeframe.
Here is the "magic" part. Your team was able to have your NMC make the changes we needed within 15 minutes of our telephone conversation!!! We were very pleased, after having spent more than a few years now in this industry, to experience that kind of personal service. It was refreshing and very much appreciated.
