Software Developer

Position will work in a team of 6 Information Systems professionals to develop, test and implement an upgraded Billing and new CRM system.

Candidate must possess strong collaborative skills, including effective oral and written communication. Strong troubleshooting ability is required. Position reports to Manager in charge of Information Systems.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead development initiatives to upgrade and standardize new Billing systems.

  • Provide insight and guidance for the replacement of the current CRM Systems.

  • Field, review, and resolve day-to-day development tasks from various internal departments.

  • Produce documentation sets for all code developed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-6 years C/C++ and Java development experience required

  • 3 years experience with Unix based operating systems

  • 3 years experience working with web based applications

  • B.S. Computer Science or similar technical discipline

  • 2-4 years experience with SQL/PLSQL required

  • Experience with Portal Intranet highly preferred

  • Experience PERL highly preferred.

  • Experience with ISP related technologies (IP Connectivity, RADIUS, SMTP, etc) preferred

  • Experience working with finance/accounting teams preferred.
